My husband Lee and I have pretty much learned that we need to keep shoes put away, otherwise they get confiscated by Harley. . .which is what happened here! (That's Lee's shoe, BTW.)
But when I saw this pose, I knew it would be PERFECT for this week's Wordless Wednesday blog post!
YES, the shoe survived! Harley is amazingly gentle with his finds, at least NOW he is. Shortly after we adopted him, there were some unfortunate incidents with Lee's reading glasses and one of my ball caps. . . I'm sad to say neither of THOSE survived!
But, Harley doesn't seem to chew on shoes, he just calmly and quietly walks away with them and deposits them somewhere near or on one of his dog beds! Such a funny, sweet dog.
Awh. Adorable photo. And glad to hear the shoe lived!
Trixie will move our socks if we leave them out - even if they are stuffed into a pair of shoes, she will take them out and place them elsewhere. But she doesn't chew them. Thank goodness!

No words needed. Love the puppy. Cutttte
Looks very comfy. And does the puppy "own" that shoe? :)
Thanks, Carol and Catsynth, for your comments!

Looks like someone was missing you and wanted to smell you while you were gone!
