Could it really be. . . . SPRING??

It's hard to believe, after the unseasonably chilly weather and all the snow that we've had here along the Wasatch Front Range of the Rockies over the past couple of weeks. . . . . . but I think that SPRING might actually be showing her cheerful face in north central Utah!

This morning, I awakened to a clear blue sky and a relatively warm (60ish) blustery day. . . It didn't take long for the wind to blow in clouds and eventual rain, but before that happened, I managed to snap a few photos of the sprouting (or more aptly termed "blooming") flora in our yard.

Yes, I think it really could be SPRING!

I never fail to get excited when I see a crocus. For some reason, that's flower that really means to me that spring is arrived.

Our crocuses all hid this year, and we only got three daffodils! Phooey! But the lilac bush is just starting to open it's buds. This is my favorite time of year!

It's always such a welcome sign to see spring flowers. It's like a sigh of relief that winter is over. Thanks for sharing these. That second flower is unique and very very pretty.

Meesh ;0-)

Boy, did you get some snow on 4/1!
Glad to see those crocuses come up for you. That blue spruce in your backyard is so incredible! Things are a bit wet here, with more rain yesterday that we planned on! Hope all is well with you both!
